Where Smyrna households buy groceries
Smyrna's grocery options line up along Sam Ridley Parkway and the President Place retail area, with Walmart on the east side of town on Enon Springs Road. Kroger consolidated into its Innsbrooke store on Sam Ridley Parkway, so the former South Lowry Street Kroger is closed. A Sprouts has been announced for the Sewart's Landing development at Sam Ridley Parkway and South Lowry Street. Confirm its opening status before you count on it.

Sam Ridley traffic is part of the decision
Sam Ridley Parkway carries most of Smyrna's retail and restaurant traffic, especially between 4 and 6 on weekdays. Homes on the west side near Stewarts Creek reach the stores without crossing it. Homes east of Lowry Street usually cross it.
Shift workers shop at odd hours
Many Smyrna households work rotating schedules at the Nissan plant, Stonecrest Medical Center, or the warehouse corridor. Check store hours against your actual schedule rather than assuming a standard evening run.
Newer subdivisions off Rocky Fork Road
The Rocky Fork Road and Almaville Road areas keep adding homes ahead of retail. From there, the President Place stores are the closest full-service grocery. Ask Jackie what retail is planned near any community you tour.
